How it works
Service work that starts from your equipment list
BeaverFlow is a comprehensive Enterprise ITSM solution. ITSM means managing IT services: user requests, incidents, changes and the equipment behind them. BeaverFlow keeps tickets, equipment, access rights and changes in one shared database built on ITIL 4, a well-known set of guidelines for running IT services. You can start with one department and later roll it out to the whole organization.
One register for all equipment
The CMDB, a configuration database, keeps the devices, systems and infrastructure you manage, and how they are set up, in one shared register. Service work starts from this register, not from a separate equipment spreadsheet.
Failures, root causes and changes
Incidents (something broke), problems (the cause behind repeated failures), changes and user requests are handled in the same workspace as the equipment they affect.
Processes based on ITIL 4
BeaverFlow is designed around ITIL 4 practices: the service desk, incidents, problems, changes, configuration and shared knowledge. Each product covers specific practices, so your team follows a method it may already know.
Modules and roles
The interface is built from modules, and each person sees what fits their role. Six roles, including IT director, IT engineer, employee and client, work in the same window. Each department can keep its own list of services on the shared CMDB.
Twelve products in three tiers
Starter covers ITSM, Helpdesk with a portal where users can solve simple issues themselves, and Knowledge. Growth adds CMDB, IDM (who has access to what), CRM and Supplier. Enterprise adds Security, Release, CSI, Project and Capacity.
Cloud or your own servers
BeaverFlow comes in three forms. Cloud Shared runs in a managed cloud shared with other customers. Cloud Dedicated is a separate cloud setup you can customize, on your own domain. On-Premise runs on your own servers, and the pricing page lists it under the Enterprise tier. Enterprise also lets you manage several separate companies under one subscription.
Apps and connections
Work in the browser, in desktop apps for Windows and Linux, or in iOS and Android apps included in paid plans. BeaverFlow exchanges data with other programs through a REST API and webhooks. It also has connectors for monitoring tools, Active Directory and LDAP (company user directories), email and messaging platforms.
Where it helps
One shared equipment register
Put your equipment and settings records in order first, as the base for handling requests and changes.
Changes in order
Handle changes to your systems next to failures and their causes, in the same workspace.
Growing step by step
Start on Starter with tickets and SLA timers (deadlines for the first reply and for the fix). Add the CMDB, access rights and suppliers as your IT team grows more experienced.
Plans and access
Plans grow with your IT team: Starter, Growth and Enterprise. You pay per user, monthly or yearly, with discounts for more users. A free trial lets you try the products before you buy, and there are discount programmes, for example for startups, education and non-profits. Current terms are on the BeaverFlow website.
