Privacy Policy

Zaebix (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a free mobile application developed by Simplexar IT Studio. It provides a native interface for monitoring IT infrastructure via the Zabbix API.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it is stored, and your rights. By using Zaebix you agree to this policy.

Zaebix is designed with a local-first principle:

• We do not operate any backend server that receives, stores, or processes your data.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
• We do not transmit your Zabbix server URL, login credentials, or API tokens to any third-party service or Simplexar infrastructure.
• We do not track your usage behaviour, session duration, or in-app navigation.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or sell data to advertisers.

To function, Zaebix stores the following data exclusively on your device using the operating system’s secure local storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain where available):

• Zabbix server URL(s) you add manually
• Zabbix API credentials (username / password or API token)
• App preferences and display settings

This data never leaves your device except as direct API calls from your device to your own Zabbix instance. Simplexar has no access to it.

Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

The App communicates exclusively with the Zabbix server(s) you configure. All requests are sent directly from your device to your Zabbix instance over the URL you provide. No traffic is routed through Simplexar servers or any other intermediary.

We recommend configuring your Zabbix server with HTTPS to protect credentials in transit.

Zaebix does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or social-media SDKs. The only network calls the App makes are to the Zabbix API endpoints you configure.

The App is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect certain device and usage data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Simplexar does not receive this data.

Zaebix is a professional monitoring tool intended for IT administrators and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Because all sensitive data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, the security of your Zabbix credentials depends on:

• Your device lock screen / biometric authentication
• The HTTPS configuration of your Zabbix server
• The access controls on your Zabbix account

We encourage you to use a dedicated Zabbix API account with minimal necessary permissions rather than an administrator account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
